The breakfast spread was incredibly nice, with a variety of good options. the location was central, close to bars, restaurants, night markets, and surrounded by temples. I had coffee at the Donut Nest, which is located within a 10-minute walk.

That was well-kept and well-maintained hotel set in very nice area, not far from great restaurants, the Sunday market, and numerous retaurants. Had superior king room with wake-up service available in it. The location was relatively quiet and comfortable, for example, Sky Zone Trampoline Park Amusement Center was relatively near the venue...

I stayed in the room that was cleaned around the bed and available with breakfast. The staff were all very amiable and provided excellent service.

The gym and pool facilities, and the range of breakfast choices.
The room decor is pretty dated and shabby.

The location of the hotel was in the old city and close to the three main temples.
Few staff spoke english which made communication difficult and they didn't seem to understand guest expectations. The hotel was old, tired and empty of guests so seemed like a funeral home. The carpets and decor were quite worn out and needed an overhaul and there were three power cuts during my three night stay. Music in the lounge was Thai easy listening music which would not appeal to a wide audience. This hotel was probably great in the sixties but is now out of touch with the world.

All my opinion is about the superior room because we first booked the standard one but when we arrived we realized that the pictures on the web page did not match. The standar was horrible bad smelling and dirty(at list the one they gave us). So we told the reception it was unacceptable and they changed us to the superior room at 1500 bath instead of 1200. We accepted and this was great. So make sure the room you are booking and if you can afford it go for the superior room, it worth it. The new room are really recommendable.

During my recent stay at the BP Chiang Mai City Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean rooms. The hotel also provided a convenient option to store our luggage while we went on a three-day trek. The free use of a safety deposit box was a great added bonus. Although the room decoration was a bit tired, I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Chiang Mai.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location was fantastic, with many temples and night markets nearby. We could easily walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. The hotel facilities were great too, especially the nice small pool where we spent some time sunbathing. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of our room, the nice decor, and the comfortable sheets. The staff, particularly the doormen, were helpful and kind.
Couldn't stay longer.
